Hello Bukola, thank you for visiting. You can buy an autographed copy from the front page of this site at $14.99. The paperback and eBook are also available on the publisher's site www.authorhouse.com. Cheers.
Your book is fab, you know. you smack of the real thing not faked love. let me quote something from my bible.
"we live in a world awash with love stories. most of them are lies. they are not love stories at all -they are lust stories, sex fantasy stories, domination stories from the cradle we are fed on lies about love..."
Your kind of love fits 1 cor 13:1-8 apart from the premarital sex but your book was great.
Just read your interview on Femme Lounge. Was inspired to know you used online resources because I'll be getting into those soon. Looking forward to buying the book :)
Wow, this is sooo cool!! I'm soo jealous!! Well, I love ur site, and wish you'd check mine out soon, I'm back to continuing the story (Saving Sasha). Just thought you'd be interested!!!
HI myne, in this cyber generation there are people you feel like you have a relationship with even if you have never seen them before. You are one of them. I follow your stories and see your name everywhere. Keep up the good work. I know we'll meet in person soon ... somewhere....
read your book AHTM and as a nigerian it was so great to read such a contemporary romance novel set in nigeria. I could identify with soooo much that I had to find out if the author was nigerian. keep it up girl and hope to follow in your steps soon as well as read more form you. good luck.
Hello, dear. You are a God-sent. I just saw your book now on the internet and I was able to read the first chapter. You are good! Keep it up.I am a Nigerian, living in Enugu. I am a writer about to publish my first 2 novels at the same time. Isn't it sickness? But the crux of the problem is that I can only write about whites!!! I love my country and all but I just CAN'T write about us. Reading Mills & Boon has grossly affected me. Will critics skin me alive? I write serious romance. I need your support and advice urgently. Pls, pls reply me.
Hello Netty, thanks for your comments. Please send me an email to myne @ mynewhitman.com. I would love to exchange ideas with you. It's not bad writing about whites but it must be realistic and well written too. All the best and hope to hear from you soon.
i read that and i had to be certain you were not quoting me.LOL this is sooooo me, i am very pleased to meet you, though i am sure i sent u a message from my blog already. I didnt know you were a writer, i just found out from Linda Ikeji's blog. i am going to grab a copy of ur book this weekend as my support to a fellow writer. hope some day i can afford to stop doing my annoying job and give more to writing. do stay in touch and once more thanks for the comments on my blog. Dianah's place(incase u are wondering)and goodluck with the second book. Di
A HEART TO MEND by Myne Whitman is a needed breath of fresh air in Nigerian romance literature. The love story of Gladys and Edward, as told by Myne is a story every mature individual can relate to no matter the status, race or creed. The story is so rivetting and involving that i almost couldn't wait to turn the last page to start again. I recomend A HEART TO MEND to all lovers of good story-telling. (Chris Okiri)
Honestly, at this point in my life the most ideal romantic moment for us would be to just have alone time without the kids. It could be dinner, a movie, anything we can do together. An overnight stay would have me over-the-moon. Thanks for the great contest :)
I just spent some time checking out your new site, and It's setup real nice! I like that you put a section for the characters. l haven't read your book yet, and yes, I would love an autographed copy. :)
hmmmmm! Extra plot layers, a strong sense of place, three-dimensional antagonists, secondary characters with their own stories... I loved the way you 'distracted' the attention of the reader by not doing it the predictable way we see in our Nigerian movies... extra characters who also had a story relevant to the main story of love between Edward and Gladys. You said this is your first; I believe greater works are due to be released from the stables of MYNE WHITMAN PRODUCTIONS! All I'll say for now is 'THUMBS UP'!!! More Ink to your Pen!
I am giving A Heart to Mend 10 stars for having quality, quantity and being quintessential.
A Love Rekindled is my story in so many ways and yes first love can be forever if it comes back knocking on your door and you welcome it with open hands and heart. I enjoyed how the past is presented after the present with the date and time stamps.
The characters Efe, Kevwe, Nneka, Ovie, Wale, Jane, Osas, Ofure, The Mukoros and the Sagay and that useless Mr. Edewor are reminders of people we know in our lives.
Myne Whitman, keep up the good work in telling our stories and using our settings as the back drop. Looking forward to seeing the movie and reading your next book.

A blogger says your book (A Heart To Mend) is free to download from Amazon but people cannot download it. Was it wrong info. or what?
ReplyDeleteMaybe a chapter is free. Why have you not advertised the free download yourself if it is free?
http://aduraojo.blogspot.com/2011/08/download-free-copy-of-myne-whitmans.html
Hi Anonymous, I have actually advertised the free download on my blog http://www.mynewhitmanwrites.com/2011/07/my-books-are-amazon-uk-and-canada.html
ReplyDeleteYou will have to download the kindle reading app first onto your PC or phone to be able to get the free book. And it is indeed the complete book.
Thanks for your interest.
