Why I am a romance writer – Interview with Blueprint Newspaper

"My first book, A Heart to Mend is set against a backdrop of the finance and economy sector of the country, especially the stock exchange and the fraud that is taking place. My second book, A Love Rekindled was framed by parental interference caused by political and ethnic conflict. I am certainly not one to talk about Nigeria as it is and shy away from reality.

However, I choose my focus to be the romance between the two main characters because I believe that for the ordinary person, their lives go beyond politics, they love, they get married, and they have children. I decided on romantic fiction because romance is universal, most people will experience relationships more than anything else in their lifetime."
